In Mageia/cauldron/x86_64: Shotcut is a free and open-source cross-platform video editing application for Windows, OS X, and Linux. Shotcut supports many video, audio, and image formats via FFmpeg and screen, webcam, and audio capture. It uses a time-line for non-linear video editing of multiple tracks that may be composed of various file formats. Scrubbing and transport control are assisted by OpenGL GPU-based processing and a number of video and audio filters are available.

In Mageia/cauldron/x86_64: Numpy is a general-purpose array-processing package designed to efficiently manipulate large multi-dimensional arrays of arbitrary records without sacrificing too much speed for small multi-dimensional arrays. Numpy is built on the Numeric code base and adds features introduced by numarray as well as an extended C-API and the ability to create arrays of arbitrary type. It provides reasonable tolerance for hardware and software failures, combined with good restart capabilities. ecFlow submits tasks (jobs) and receives acknowledgements from tasks when they change status and when they send events, using child commands embedded in the scripts. Ecflow stores the relationship between tasks, and is able to submit tasks dependent on triggers.
